Photos taken in Waseda-Honjo Dormitory on June 28, 2006 It was a hot-sunny day when suddenly the rain started pouring heavily around 4 PM. The sound of the rain was so unusual that made Hikari and me look out of the window. It was raining ice! Not snow, but ice. Peebles-like ice, solid hard. The first time we saw this happening in Honjo. Fascinating, but scary. One can only imagine what it can do to glasses, cars, or even human heads. The rain only lasted for 30 minutes.
